Ph.D. work at Rafina

Miguel-Angel is spending some days at Athens to attend a couple of events. He is staying at Avra Hotel in Athen’s port Rafina. This saturday he met Maria Pavlis-Korres to have a session of hard work on her Ph.D. Maria is enrolled at the Ph.D. program of the University of Alcalá, and she is working on teaching educators of special groups (more concretely, gypsies). This is a really interesting topic in the middle of andragogy and technology.

2007 Workshop on Computational Science in Software Engineering

The 2nd edition of the “Workshop on Computational Science in Software Engineering” will be a co-llocated event of the International Conference in Computational Science May 27-30, Beijing, china. Daniel Rodríguez is the main organizer of the workshop that aims at “steering discussion and debate on various aspects and issues related to applying computational intelligence techniques to software engineering “

 

MENSURA-IWSM’07

The second edition of the MENSURA conference on Software Engineering measurement will take place at the University of the Balearic Islands, in Spain. The first edition was in Cádiz, Spain.  This year is a joint event called IWSM-Mensura 2007, merging  the International Workshop in Software Measurement IWSM and the International Conference on Software Process and Product Measurement, Mensura.The conference is a major event in empirical Software Engineering, and is an excellent place for sharing experiences and research outcomes in the beautiful context of the Balearic Islands.

 

ONTOSE’07

The second edition of the  Workshop on Ontology, Conceptualizations and Epistemology of Software and Systems Engineering will take place at Milano, June 2007. The first edition was held at the Univ. of Alcalá in 2005, with Alain Abran as invited speaker.

 

MTSR’07

The second edition of the Metadata, Semantics and Ontologies (MTSR) conference will take place in Corfu (Greece), October 2007. More information at:  http://www.mtsr.ionio.gr  | We co-organized the first edition in 2005 and we are really looking forward to visit Corfu, which really seems a lovely place.
