Salvador Sánchez and Miguel-Angel Sicilia are attending SPDECE 2011 – the eigth edition of the pluri-disciplinary conference on “learning objects”. Around 100 attendees discussed in Ciudad Real and Almagro, Spain, on reusability, pedagogy and technology of educational resources. Organized by University of Castilla la Mancha, this year’s edition provides an open framework for educators and computer specialists to discuss progress in the implementation of new technologies in education, covering aspects such as new teaching and learning environments, content standards and metadata, Learning Objects and Learning Designs and teaching materials in digital format.
Given that SPDECE is a conference series that was initiated in 2004 by Information Engineering members, there is a very cohesive group which makes us feel at home in every edition.
